A properly optimized website has the ability to cut through the competition to attract more targeted traffic, increase that exponentially, slowly and steadily day by day. And there by helping you build a more sustainable and profitable venture.

Learning and mastering SEO is an on-going process and it cannot be fully covered in an article or two. But nevertheless, there are certain SEO activities that are highly crucial for your website which you must perform on a regular basis.

One of them is creating quality content.

Updating your blog regularly

Search engines are hungry for quality content, and so are your audience. So updating your blog with high quality content on a regular basis is a powerful SEO technique to get your blog up on the search engine results.

But before you create the content, it is recommended to conduct a keyword research and use those keywords in your content for getting more traffic and higher ranking.

  1. SEO drives me crazy. It seems every time I get a hold on what is needed someone trashes the idea of doing it. From the Panda updates putting a curse on a 2.0 site I write for to the latest changes in Google algorithm. Sometimes I think it is best to just write naturally and let the search engines find you. I’m trying to stick more to learning longtail keywords and just making my content easily read.
Honestly though, I think the ones talking so negatively about the algorithm changes are more likely to be upset because they are overly SEO’d. In a recent recording I listened to Matt Cutts say there is still a purpose for SEO. Just random and slightly conflicting thoughts I have on the topic.
    What are your thoughts?

    • HI Tams, thanks for stopping by, and true, SEO these days gives us headaches, all this panda updates and algorithm changes, it can be really hard to follow.
But good content and honest promotions will be fine and will not harm our rankings.
