Do Not Treat Your Child In Regards to Your Career’s Desires
One of the worst things a parent could make in regards to his child’s future is to plan it for him. Of course, we all know that parents know it better – but it does not mean that their children are forced to simply get it straightaway. Instead, make sure to let him or her decide upon the field that suits him best. All you can do is to give him or her enough opportunities to see life in different angles, especially traveling, because by this way he or she will be able to interfere with so many cultures that will make the mentality be wider and brighter.
Be a Mentor
Your child needs you affection and your pieces of advice. Whenever he or she is in doubt, make sure to be at their side, so that they would be able to make the best choice. The lack of communication is something that we are all doing from time to time, but your children are the ones that can talk with you, only with you, while having full trust. It is up to you what path you take, but make sure to remain a mentor and start expressing the stuff that you used to make in your childhood and what you wish you could change, so that they will be able to know what mistakes to avoid and preferably, what to make in regards to their age.
