I just needed to write this article because of this changing economy, and new players on the field when it comes to renting your space.
There are so many new and very useful websites that caught my attention when it comes to making money online.
You probably remember my last article about making money with Airbnb, well that showed to be very popular blog post online and still is.
And emails just kept coming, from all over the world, thanking me for the post and asking for some other websites that are useful and can be trusted with renting their space and making money online.
So I decided to take a better look, beyond this one website, and man I was surprised when I found these new and very popular sites where you can rent your room, living room, and even the three house where people can sleep over.
Many of these websites that I’m about to tell you are opening new online opportunities for people all over the world to make extra cash or even full time income just by doing some work from home.
Here is the list of websites where you can rent your space and make money online.
Airbnb – Don’t stay at a hotel. Airbnb is a global network of accommodations offered by locals. It’s more fun and very cheap, especially in big cities.
This is one of the first websites and the leader in the industry right now, I’m not promoting this website but they came first so they deserve the first place on this list, and I think that’s fair.

CouchSurfing – The CouchSurfing Project is a free, Internet-based, international hospitality service, and it is currently the largest hospitality exchange network.
Roomorama – Find short term rentals and short term apartments for short term stays in the most popular US, Canadian and European cities, or rent yours, with Roomorama.
9flats – On 9flats.com you can find a new kind of accommodation: private rooms, apartments and holiday houses, owned by friendly locals across the world. They call him ” European Airbnb” and is founded in Berlin, Germany, try it out.

Wimdu – Started in March of 2011 with small team and grown into one of the biggest and most popular websites for renting your space, also from Berlin, Germany, like 9flats. Their slogan is “Travel Like a Local”. List your apartment, your spare room or your couch for free and soon start welcoming your own guests.
Flat-club – Post your flat and earn cash…Enjoy the extra income to fund your next vacation, also another great online marketplace to help students and alumni of top universities find short-term accommodation by leveraging existing social networks to create trust.
