In my previous post I was talking about importance of optimizing a WordPress website using some of the most popular and most useful plugins out there. In my today’s post I will be focusing on using the WordPress plugins which could help you optimize the loading speed of the website which will bring many good to you.

Why is loading speed so important nowadays?

Only because people don’t have time to wait 5 more seconds for your website to load. It’s not the only reason but it’s the most important one. What I also find very interesting is that one of the Google ranking factors is actually speed. I managed to prove that with my case study year ago. I improved loading time of my website for more than 200% and Google awarded me with a higher ranking immediately.

Here are some of my recommendations of WordPress plugins which will help you improve the speed and rankings of your website.

1. Hammy

One of the reasons why your website may be slow is the size of the images which cause lot of problems if you are using shared hosting. That’s why I recommend using Hammy which can help you reduce the image size just with offering you three configuring options.

2. Lazy Load

One of the easiest plugins I’ve ever saw in my life. When you install it, you don’t have to do anything. It’s all set up to automatic. This plugin helps you by loading images only when user scrolls to them which helps in preserving your server’s bandwidth.

3. EWWW Image Optimizer

This plugin is one of my favorite when it comes to resizing images without losing any quality.

Caching plugins:

-WP Super Cache

-W3 Total Cache (my favorite)

-Better WordPress Minify

I hope you understand the importance of optimizing a WordPress website for speed loading.
