Today, there are a lot of people who claim they can live off the internet working as freelancers or making money on online platforms. Frankly, I do not trust many of these “get rich quick” schemes, and I was just looking for a fun platform to earn some additional bucks with advertising campaigns. Among the many platforms that offer an opportunity to make a profit with online advertising with banner ads, I found Click2Sell.co, an affiliate marketing program that caught my attention.
Overview of the platform
The general idea of Click2Sell is that it allows the user to create a marketing campaign from scratch, which is then hosted on a variety of third-party sites. The more people will click on the ads (or banner ads, to be exact), the more money I will make in the long run. In a nutshell, I will get paid by running advertising campaigns, so the better is the performance, the more money I will make. The commission paid is 85% of the revenue generated by each click or sale generated by my banner ad campaigns (i.e. you can profit by both ways – clicks and sales). The affiliate part is also extremely interesting, as you can earn as much as 30% referral commission of the fees paid by every person you invited. Obviously, this commission is only worth something if those who you have invited are active, but if you are a social person who has a lot of friends this additional money will quickly pile up. So I went in, and I tried it.
Testing the platform out
First thing first, although the minimum deposit amount is $250, I was offered the chance to buy some nice packages which included additional services. I decided to buy the Starter package to test things out in the beginning, and I got a few “gifts” with it. Other than a cool 20% Welcome Bonus to get more additional credit, they also provided me with an eBook to get some background of the digital advertising industry, and a one-on-one session with an experienced agent who gave me some advice about the online marketing platform itself.
Creating a new campaign
Armed with my new knowledge, I started creating my own custom campaign, rather than buying a pre-made one from the market. The entire process is quite simple and straightforward. I started by selecting the category of the campaign, such as Architecture, Fashion, Sports or Gaming (and others), its length, and the amount of money I wished to invest. Then I chose the banner and where to place it on the website or mobile. Different locations may bring different results, so in the beginning, I created several campaigns with smaller budgets to test things out. Nicely enough, instead of having to write my own headline, I had the option to choose from a list of pre-written ones.
Final considerations
The bottom line of my Click2Sell review is that this platform is rather cool. There are many options to choose from, meaning that you have to play with them for a while before you can find a definitive “formula” that can bring you a profit. It’s like having your own piece of a virtual real estate on the Internet which you can use to make another income from home, as long as you got some money to invest (not a lot, as previously mentioned), patience and persistence.
