What can you do to speed up your computer?

If your computer operating system has been running slowly, bear in mind that a lot of factors are contributing to it. I could recall when my PC was having loading issues, I tried some software out there but nothing happened.

I don’t know what you’re experiencing but I’m confident there is solution of you. In this post, I’ll share some effective ways to speed up PC without infecting any of your documents and files.

Protect Your DATA

The #1 reason why you must speed up your computer is because of the data. May be you don’t know yet, a slow PC is a sure sign of ill-health in your operating system. The first thing to do is determine what operating system you use. For those using the latest Windows 7, some of your in-house setting and codes must have been dented by malware and other unhealthy agents.

1.    Scan Your PC

There are free and premium tools and software to help you scan your PC for malware. Some of this software is good, I’ve used a few of them in the past and the one that blew my mind is VMware and Raxco. 2.    Debug Your Windows Operating System

Is there any error in your windows operating system? It’s time to debug it. There are great tools to help you debug this error messages. If for instance you use windows 7, you’ll get a pop up dialogue box every time you boot your PC. It will alert you to reinstall operating system or modify it. This message should not be ignored. It shows that the windows operating system is infected. Some unscrupulous hackers might have infiltrated your PC and gained access to cause havoc. Some lines of code should be present in your preferences. Check to see what’s happening, debug the error, fix it if you can or seek help from capable hands.

3.    Clean Up Your Temp. Folder

So many PC users have partitioned their local disk. We have the Local C and Local D. the Local C is the house for very important components of your operating system, while the other is for data storage. Do you know that whenever you install a new program or script on your PC, there are cookies, cache properties and other unwanted materials that are stored on your Local C? Well, right inside the Local C, there is a folder termed “Temp.??? if you don’t clean up this folder, your operating system will be slow. Don’t delete the main folder, simply double click to open. Select all the files inside it and press delete. You’re done.
