AVIVA

Aviva, the largest insurance provider in the UK offers various investment and insurance options including medical insurance. Medical insurance offered by Aviva can be customized according to your needs and budget. The basic plan is called core cover and gives you access to a specified list of hospitals, hospital charges, doctor’s fees, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and diagnostic fees. It doesn’t cover pre-existing conditions, alcohol and drug abuse, long-term chronic conditions and HIV. However, you can include them by paying more. The sample rate is £9.98 per month.

BUPA

Bupa Heartbeat is serving more than 3 million healthcare subscribers. Every health care plan of Bupa’s offers core services that include standard treatment, access to 400 hospitals that are on the Bupa list, specialist’s and consultant’s charges, private cancer cover and easy to use claims services to simplify the check-in process at hospitals. Other health coverage plans cover core services and some additional services and options. The basic price of the core cover is £12.70 per month.

It has categorized its health cover plans into three types that covers individuals and families health care plans; they are Flexible health insurance, active health insurance and XS health insurance. The parent plan is designed for families and covers all the things that are covered in the premier plan and also covers the hidden costs or expenses when your child falls ill or sick. The child plan covers everything that is covered in the parent plan but it is limited for children.
