If you think about it, there is so much potential, as you could technically be selling to anyone in the world (unless you are selling something local). You could have things that you make and sell, source and sell, or you could put together your own subscription boxes, much like Birchbox, for instance. But choosing something that people want will help you to take it to the next level.

When you have a blog and a certain level of readership, you can join many affiliate links schemes from Amazon to Zara. This means that if you post about something and link to the product, using your affiliate code, you can earn money from the sale if someone purchases it. To be effective in this you need to use these kinds of codes quite a lot, so it works best for bloggers that cover things like beauty, fashion, or homeware, as these are all pretty visual blogs where people see something and then want to buy it.
Up Your Instagram Game
Not only can having a blog generate an income for you, having a stellar social media profile can as well. There will be brands that will pay you for a feature on your Instagram feed or to try out their product. Most of the time the numbers help, but it is all about interaction. If you have an engaged audience, then that can have more value than large numbers that don’t interact.
