Do you ever wonder how does it happen that some of us have such a great success, whereas other ones do not have the chance to meet it at least once in a lifetime? Would you like to be working with people that have only good to great things to say about you, regardless of time or location? Well, as all of you might now, actions really do speak louder than words. Still, before making any move, bear in mind that sometimes, words are more trustworthy, especially when there are no other actions to count on. These being said, in case you are looking forward to knowing more concerning the subject, make sure to stick with us and keep an eye onto the following lines to get a better image over some of the most unprofessional words that you should not mention if you aim high!
- I am not feeling good enough
You have most probably heard this phrase and also, might have used it for some time now. There’s no reason to be worry about, since from now on we will make some changes. In order for you to understand our problem with this saying, we aim to give you a hand in this matter – when you hear someone saying he’s not feeling too well for a special request that you have conducted to him, I am sure that happiness and excitement are not found through your feelings. Thus, even if you don’t feel too good to do something, find a different, more diplomatic way to state it. By this way, you will not hurt anyone’s feelings but make it understand your point of view.
- I am a guru
Yes, well, gurus can be found on YouTube – you know, those people about whom everyone tells they are just way overrated. In case you want to change the scene, make sure you are not one of those gurus, mainly because no one will take you for granted. Also, on the other hand, people might as well consider your self-appreciation as overrated and egocentric. So, are you sure this is what you would like to hear about you? I am deeply sure about the contrary. Take good care of your own being and stop using these phrases until it is too late, mainly because of the fact that people will start blocking access to different opportunities.
